Ohhh it's what you do to me. Honestly what this field of flowers did to me, major swooning! I stumbled across this magical field on Instagram recently. One thing I love about IG is that we all share a space with millions of people, showing others beautiful places in the world. It's a great way for others to plan trips and head to hidden gems. Andrew's Scenic Acres is located forty minutes outside of Toronto and is the perfect city escape on a fall day.
With our insane week long heat wave out of the way, the weather has finally cooled down enough to be able to enjoy the outdoors. Fall means cozy, layers, and a huge splash of fashion. On this breezy fall day I opted for a ribbed sweater jumper with front slip pockets layered with one of my favourite baby doll pieces from Zara. I've been trying to stray away from wearing my wide brimmed hats so often, but sometimes I can't help myself. Lack of Colour does hats so well, are the perfect staple piece, and always pull my outfits together in a whole other way.
Leaving this field you wish you could take a piece home with you, and you can! Andrew's Acres gives you the option to pick your own flowers and bring the beauty into your home. Flowers are $1 a stem and drop to 80¢ after ten. I brought home a beautiful lush bouquet of rainbow pastels for only $8.00, making my trip there that much more memorable. Watercolour blooms are currently hung up to dry in my apartment and I'm already planning my next trip back.
