field of dreams

This field was one of my favourite moments when I was home. If you've been following my feed since I visited, you've probably come to notice that lupins are one of my favourite flowers. During the month of June they bloom all over New Brunswick and fill fields with beautiful hues of pastel purples and pinks. My dear friend, Fredericton florist, and one of the most creative minds I know Reuben Stewart whisked me away to a field of dreams and I could not stop smiling. With Florence and the Machine playing in the background, a magical sunset, and the tiniest crescent moon on the horizon it was the perfect evening to heal the soul.

I chose to wear the faith fringe trim romper from local boutique Wasted Fashion; the tassels reminded me of the daisies dancing while the perfect summer breeze rolled through. Run by boss babe Christin Fowler in Fredericton, N.B, Wasted Fashion brings high fashion vibes to a small city with forward women's fashion and exclusive clothing brands. Every time I visit the store her pieces that she hand selects always blow me away and always sell out quickly. If you're looking for the perfect summer wardrobe from jumpsuits, dresses, rompers, shoes, and accessories Wasted has got you covered.

I asked hair stylist Nicole Wilby to style my hair to match where i was going. She gave me some whimsical curls and braided my hair into intricate little flowers; this should be the new flower crown.

I can't express enough how beautiful New Brunswick is. I wish I could spend the rest of my summer days in this beautiful oasis surrounded by flowers and smelling the freshest air. Every time I go home I fall back in love with this place over and over again.
