colour me hippy

May 4, 2017

Fringe, multi colour print, wide legged pants, and burnout velvet headbands, colour me hippy! Warmer weather calls for clothing that is super stylish and light weight. These colourful striped pants are actually part of a set from Free People. Wear it together or separately, you can take one idea and create three completely differently looks.

Pairing my party pants with my beautiful printed weekender bag from Nena & Co. I love everything that this company stands for. When you make a Nena & Co. purchase, a difference is enabled in Guatemalan lives. It helps to provide purified filtered water or a scholarship to help Guatemalan artisans receive a better education. Their bags are up-cycled from vintage Maya clothing allowing you to carry around something with a story; all bags are one-of-a-kind. The weekender is also a convertible with leather straps, it's a top handle, crossbody shoulder bag, and backpack.

Finishing off and accessorizing my look with a pair of rose gold vintage mirror lenses from SojoS vision. These glasses are extremely affordable, come in a variety of colours, and are perfect for festival season. SojoS carries a variety of different frames from cut-outs, geometric, retro, steampunk, and aviators.

I decided as of late to start writing down small moments of happiness I experience during my day in my phone; the little things that make you smile. This day was swinging. I can't remember the last time I had been on a swing, and when I started swinging I couldn't help but smile and continuously laugh. I'm hoping that this post will bring awareness to those small moments for you too :)!
