After a month of planning, I finally got to surprise Glen with a trip home for our anniversary. Going from zero snow in Toronto to 40+ cm of snow back home, I smiled knowing I can experience the best of both worlds in the winter. I appreciate the amount of times I've been able to visit home since I've moved to the big city. Every trip home goes by too fast for my liking, but it's a breath of fresh air and a chance to hit my reset button.
One of my favourite things about N.B is how scenic it is every season of the year, and all you have to do is walk to the end of your driveway. Where we live traffic is next to none, but naturally when you want to take advantage of the non traffic...there's a bunch of traffic; hence the title of this blog post hehe. As much as we had to run off the road, it made the shots more fun knowing we had to be quick.
Adding some pop of colour to the winter scenery, I opted for my burnt orange tank with a criss-cross feature from Bo + Threads and a skirt from H&M. I've had this printed skirt for over a year now and have maybe worn it once or twice, once I paired the two together it's as if they were long lost soulmates. FP also released a new colour in their hunt the plains boot, so my ongoing love affair with Jeffrey Campbell continues.
Thank you N.B for being so beautiful, and thank you Glen for opening up my eyes to it. Happy anniversary,
I love you so much.
